Fishing and golf are popular pastimes across Anglesey and visitors to Amlwch do not have to travel far to play golf at the Bull Bay golf club or fish at various locations. Amlwch has a range of local bars and shops and hosts a local market every Friday. History buffs will be well pleased to know Anglesey has a number of both historic and prehistoric sites close-by,.

Is a small village on the North East tip of the Island of Anglesey off the North Wales coast. In the 18th and 19th century the copper mines on parys mountain were the largest in the world, with copper being exported to many countries from the small harbour at Amlwch port. The need to export the ore resulted in the development of the port from a small fishing harbour to a location for the repair and eventual building of new ships.

This is my take on the world through the eyes of Wales. As I heavily hinted to in the last post I am back in Wales and ready to turn my hand to blogging again.
